GUIDE TO THE SERVICE
Practical guidance for your next step
Your TalentCard is a public or shareable page about your working life. It can show your skills, preferred role and general work area. You decide what to say and how people may reach you.
Use simple words for each skill. Tell a reader what you have done, not only what you hope to do. Add a short description of your next goal. Never claim a certificate or role that you do not have.
You can share the page link in an email or with a job application. A QR code makes it easy to open from printed material. You do not need to create and maintain a separate website just to share the page.
Your account starts out private. A public profile needs a clear choice from you and an active product. You may keep it private or change your choice later. Your login email, password and billing data do not become part of the public page.
Think about privacy before you publish. A broad city or region is often enough. Your home address is not needed for a public career page. Read the full profile first and remove anything that should stay private.
A TalentCard may support an application but it does not replace every document an employer requests. You may still need a CV, references or certificates. The separate x25apply service is available for professional work on application documents.
Search engines may discover a public profile. They decide what to index and how to show it. The platform can prepare the page for search, but it cannot promise a ranking, enquiry, interview or job.
You may want a different public description for each stage of your career. A person who is changing fields can focus on transferable skills, while someone with long experience can describe a few specific tasks. Keep each claim short enough for a visitor to understand at a glance. Update the page when you finish training or change your work plans. Before you share a link, open it yourself on a phone and check that it is easy to read. If the profile becomes public, remember that search engines may keep older snippets for a while after you make a change.
Professional visibility also requires careful decisions about privacy and accuracy. A well-structured description can distinguish verified experience, transferable abilities and future career interests without confusing them. You should periodically review the information displayed to visitors, especially after completing additional training or changing occupational goals. A public professional profile may be discovered by automated search services, but indexation and the presentation of results are independently determined by each provider.
